Close range heading, receiving and finishing first time


Description

In this session we are focusing on close range heading, receiving and finishing first time. The drill begins with the player moving towards the coach before dropping the shoulder to move off and attack the ball thrown to head. The player then moves back to the start to receive the ball and touch onto either side to finish. The player then spins off round the back cone to move onto the ball to finish first time. Each set should consist of 2 - 3 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
