Reacting to move swiftly in to space and finish first time
Description
In this session we are focusing on reacting to move swiftly in to space and finish first time. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who sets back first time. This repeats until the coach shouts a number which represents which cone the player moves round. If the coach shouts 1 or 2 the player moves round the cone ahead and then onto the ball in a wider position to finish. If the coach shouts 3 or 4 they then drop round the cone behind and then through the middle to finish from a central area. The player should retain composure and focus on their technique when striking the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
