Setting and reacting to finish, quick feet to finish from distance
Description
In this session we are focusing on setting and reacting to finish, quick feet to move and finish from distance. The drill begins with the coach passing the ball into player 1 who looks to set back and repeat until the coach sets the ball into space for the player to move onto and finish. The player then looks to move through the ladder swiftly before player 2 passes the ball to player 1 to set back before spinning around player 2 who looks to set the ball into space for player 1 to move onto and finish from distance. The players then swap over the repeat the drill. The players should ensure that they retain composure when finishing and don’t snatch at their chances. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps per player and should be completed at least three times.
