Combine and quick feet to move onto the ball and finish


Description

In this session we are focusing on combining and showing quick feet to move onto the ball to finish. The drill begins with the player receiving and setting the ball back to the coach before dropping to the cone behind to receive, open out and play back to the coach. Once the player passes the ball to the coach they look to move down the line as the ball is set into space for them to meet and finish. After the player has finished they look to move to the ladder to shuffle across and then move around the cone to move onto the ball to finish first time. The player should ensure that they stay focused when approaching the ball and retain composure when striking the ball. Each set should consist of 2 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
