Open out and finish, react to combine to finish first time


Description

In this session we are focusing on opening out and finish, react to combine to finish first time. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to set back before scanning and dropping to the cone behind. The coach then passes back to the player to receive on the back foot to open out and finish. The player then reacts to move to the opposite side to receive and shift inside to finish. The player should receive on the back foot to take the ball into space. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
