Driving across Goal to Finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on sharp passing and movement, to drive into space and finish. The drill starts with the coach, who plays a 1-2 with the player. This should be repeated three times, before the coach says a colour on the third pass. This is to indicate which cone the player should move to, to then receive and drive forward. As you can see in the video, the blue and white cones are diagonal to each other. This is so when the player receives the ball, they are driving across the opposition and into space, before finishing. The players first touch upon receiving on the outside of the cone should be forward. Each set should contain between 4-6 finishes.
